White-Label
Branded platform instances available to regulated institutions, trust companies, and broker-dealers, with custom theming and compliance configuration.
Full Definition
White-Label refers to Sails.to's fully branded platform instances deployed for regulated institutions, trust companies, and broker-dealers. A white-label deployment gives the institution its own branded investment portal — their logo, their colors, their domain — running on Sails.to's infrastructure with the full Melusina on-chain layer underneath. The institution's clients never see Sails.to. They see their trusted financial institution, powered by infrastructure that is lightyears beyond what that institution could build alone.
White-label deployments include custom CSS theming, subdomain routing, issuer and broker approval controls, self-hosted KYC/AML integration, and per-instance compliance configuration. Licensing is annual plus transaction fees.
Why It Matters
Regulated institutions don't adopt platforms — they adopt infrastructure. A broker-dealer with a 20-year client relationship is not going to tell those clients to "go use this crypto platform." But they will offer those clients a branded portal that happens to be powered by tokenization, CrossConversion, and on-chain compliance.
White-label is how Sails.to scales without acquiring retail users directly. Every Trustee, every trust company, every regulated broker becomes a distribution channel. They bring their clients. Sails.to provides the technology. The institution maintains the relationship — and earns commissions and brokerage fees on every transaction their clients execute.
How It Works
- The institution signs an annual licensing agreement and receives a Reseller NFT in the NFT Hierarchy
- Custom branding (CSS theming, logo, color palette) is configured for the institution's subdomain
- Issuer and broker approval workflows are configured to match the institution's internal policies
- KYC/AML providers are integrated — either Sails.to's default or the institution's own provider
- Compliance parameters (jurisdictions, investor types, minimum investments) are set per-instance
- The institution's clients access the portal at the branded subdomain, with full CrossSecurities functionality
Transaction fees are shared between the institution and Sails.to. The institution controls their client relationships entirely.
